Who is the Program For?
This program is intended for persons with disabilities between the ages of 18 and 65 who identify as being socially isolated. Social isolation occurs when an individual feels they are prevented from participating in the leisure community. Such isolation can occur for a variety or reasons, including learned helplessness, lack of information, resources, or supports or from the feeling that a person's disability is preventing them from participating.
