Equal Access to Independence (EAI) has just released the
first few installments of a new resource. This resource
is ‘Quick Tips,’ now available online. This feature
takes advantage of a popular tool already available to
the public – YouTube.com.
This resource
is great for people who want to learn about computers
but are unable to attend a computer workshop in person.
Also, this is a great resources just for ‘reminders.’
If there is anything about computers that YOU want to
know and want to see a video about, or if you have any
questions, simply e-mail Marie-Lynn at mlh@ilrc.mb.ca or
call at 204-947-0194 (1-800-663-3043). You are the
director of the Quick Tips videos!

YouTube.com is
one of the world’s most popular websites where users can
upload and browse video for free about all kinds of
things. Equal Access to Independence has created an
account on YouTube.com – the account name is ILRCEAI.
If you perform a ‘search’ of this account (ILRCEAI), all
of EAI’s ‘Quick Tips’ videos are listed. These videos,
currently, give small training sessions on how to do
different little tips and tricks on your computer but
the possibility for it to expand into pretty much
anything remains open. There are only a few right now,
but expect many more in the months to come.
